Sliced

For this assignment we were assigned to merge two objects into one and then add a background behind the merged object. What I decided to do was to merge a bear and a slice of an orange. The reason I choose to merge a orange with the bear is because I wanted to merge the bear with a fruit and that was the first fruit that came to my mind. I choose this background of mountains because bears live in the mountains so I wanted to chose a background that would match with the subject. This was my first time combing layers and what I had trouble with was getting the orange to look at a 3-dimensional angle and not just flat like 2-dimensional but the tutorial video helped better understand how to do that. Overall I think the final results look good. What was successful was merging the orange in the bear. But what I need to work on is how to better use the selection tool
